Selvage fabric rides again

Thank you all so much for the enthusiasm on the selvage fabric! I love having this place to share my inspirations and creations. Because, you know, it's different at home. When I asked my 3 year old, "Mama made this, isn't it pretty?", she frowned a bit and agreed, grudgingly, "mmm hmmm." Then she suddenly perked up and asked, "I could walk on it?"

So, it's nice to know people who appreciate what I do, without even getting to walk on it. You guys rock.

Now I have the smaller version also. I think I like it even better!

I quilted a piece of it with straight lines and made a little bag which is going to go with me everywhere.

I am really blushing that a few people have bought some of the fabric to use as well! The ultimate compliment! Here are the links for both fabrics: Selvages on steroids and Tiny selvage.

I can feel the early pregnancy fatigue lifting. Dishes are getting washed the same night we use them, and I found the floor in my sewing room. So, patchwork soon!

Walk on it nothing - I would roll around in it and cuddle it.

The bag is just full of squee. :)

I love how it looks with the straight line quilting. What else will you be making?

The straight line quilting really emphasizes the selvage look. Love it! And I don't even need to be allowed to walk on it.

I love the quilting for exactly the reason Felicity mentioned. When I received my Steroids FQ, I put it in my pocket for the evening. Every time I put my hand in, I felt happy. Hopefully you and others will relate to the fact that sometimes fabric just makes a girl smile.

I was tired all through my pregnancy!! But it is satifying when you can get pretty things done!

I just love your selvage design!

Super cute bag using your new fabrics! Just so cheery and fun! Congratulations on the pregnancy and glad to hear you are through the yucky first trimester :)

Oh Christina they are both lovely. I wanted some of the first dots but decided to wait for the next smaller size. I am buying 1 yard and I will probably hoard it forever. Now I will give away all my selvages as your fabric is just so much easier. Love it!

I just received the big dots on Kona......It is simply wonderful! the Kona is a nice, slightly heavier and more substantial than the first fabric Spoonflower was using. I will bring it to the Feb PMQG meeting.
Great little pouch too...I like, I like!

This fabric is FABULOUS! I'm working on a selvage quilt right now and I'm counting my pennies to see if I can buy enough of your fab to make the backing!

Congrats!

This is really cute. I have seen other projects for selvage, but none of them seemed worthwhile. Great job!
